Nice hotel, very nice rooms, very good breakfast, evening menu is better. Still a nice stay

A nice hotel right on the Christlessee. The rooms are nicely furnished, even if not perfect, but that is a matter of taste. The service was very good, friendly and the guests were given the best possible attention if they had any questions or problems. The food was served in the morning as a buffet and in the evening as a menu with various options. The swimming pool is very nice. There are also saunas and wellness areas. Parking spaces and free WiFi are available. The perfect starting point for great hikes in the surrounding area and the mountains.

Room was very nice and very clean, but no air conditioning. In our opinion, air conditioning would make sense, especially in the attic rooms. Breakfast and food good, only the temperature of the food could be improved.

Positive first: Very nice, clean, spacious rooms that are stylishly and comfortably furnished. The service staff is attentive and very courteous, although the guidance from the hotel management seems rather mediocre. You can eat well. Points to start with: Unfortunately the hotel lacks the common thread and the soul. There are Tao-Lin and self-discovery courses, but these are not reflected anywhere else. The bar is served by the service staff for dinner, which simply doesn't work in terms of time. Although the rooms are beautiful, the balconies are carelessly furnished or not at all and have no comfort, which reduces the stay a bit. Sun loungers are set up on a meadow / field next to the parking lot, but without any comment that they belong to the hotel, without shade - looks like a youth hostel and does not fit either the type of hotel or the price range. The food is delicious, but the common thread is missing here, too, there are often different dishes from different countries that are not coordinated. The desserts are simply too sugary. Since the rooms are really nice, the individual dishes are tasty and the service is good, the stay is definitely recommended! The management should still work on the points mentioned, but you can still really enjoy your stay.

Nice modern hotel in the middle of nature in the Trettach valley. Only passable on a private road was no problem for us. You can go hiking right from the hotel. The hygiene concept is very good and people keep being told about it. All in all great hotel.

Instead of the booked double room with balcony, we were assigned a single room with a terrace, only after our massive and persistent complaint we were given another room. Mistakes can happen, but you have to deal with them differently. It was stiffly asserted that the assigned room corresponded to the booked category, which is very reminiscent of the American President and his "alternative facts" ...

Very, very friendly staff, fantastic food and a beautiful location. THANK YOU! Unfortunately, due to the corona, the Brechel bath and infrared sauna are currently not usable, only the Finnish sauna is available; this information would have been nice in advance (on the homepage).

We had spent 2 nights on a hiking tour at elements in Christlesee, and had a great time. Very good starting point for hiking, directly from the hotel to the Kemptner Hütte: great hike. Nice, quiet room "at the back", thanks to the mosquito net you could sleep with the window open without any problems. Service was very friendly, the food was delicious and everything went very quickly. What was important to us: A well thought-out hygiene concept, which was implemented unobtrusively. We look forward to coming back and wish the team continued success!

Per: Top location on a beautiful small lake, you can start hiking right away; Very friendly and attentive staff; varied food; Room clean Cons: We had booked a maisonette room, you sleep directly under the roof, air conditioning or a skylight that could be opened would make sense as it gets very warm. Unfortunately, the balcony offers no privacy as the individual areas are only separated by a small wooden board. When you lie in bed you have the feeling that your neighbor is sitting in the room. We felt worst about it. Cigarette smell that regularly moved into our room.

We were very disappointed. The location of the hotel is great. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired, which is not okay for a four star hotel.

WLAN non existent, no Cell Phone Reception, and some of the staff is quite rude. would not recommend this Hotel. Online it even said there was a Sauna... well there was one.. in parts in boxes Down in the basement and hadnt even been set up yet🤦‍♂️ Do not come here unless you want to absolutely seclude yourself with nothing to do and no contact to the outside.

Great hotel. Have already spent countless stays there with the previous guests. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is currently too high. Too high prices for rooms on the mountain side (note: it is very dark in the rooms because a forest is directly adjacent). In addition, there is unfortunately only buffet food. I would find a menu served more appropriate for the price. The quality of the food is good. The sauna area has been nicely renovated and the drinks and towels are regularly refilled. The swimming pool is also pleasantly warm and beautiful. Great location of the hotel in the nature reserve and no cell phone reception (free WiFi available), which really invites you to relax. Travel by car to Oberstorf: approx. 15 minutes.

We were a guest in this beautiful hotel from 03.03.2020 to 06.03.2020. The location is super nice, the rich and varied food and the friendliness of the staff couldn't be better. Those looking for peace and quiet are in good hands here. Everything was just right here and you can only distribute the full 5 stars. Keep it up 👌👍. A big thank you.

We were there with our child (1) and our dog and were extremely satisfied. The hotel is well equipped with everything you need. The location is absolutely great and you have a beautiful view in all directions. There is nothing in the way of a beautiful mountain hike. The breakfast and dinner convinced us very much. There was everything you needed and more. The staff is super friendly, especially with our daughter. I would book again immediately.

Pretty hotel in a quiet location. The road to the hotel is privat and sometimes slippery when snowing. + friendly staff + nice spa area - gym is not what I expected to be The ski slope Kleinwalsertal and Oberstdorf are quite close and accessible by bus or car. We enjoyed the winter wonderland during January and had great fun on the ski or by walking in the snow in Oberstdorf area.

Great hotel in a very quiet, secluded location. The rooms are to feel good. The buffet was delicious. Every evening there are different appetizers, main courses and desserts. The staff is also very nice. There are two saunas, an infrared cabin and a large pool to relax. To Oberstdorf is about 15 minutes by car. We went for a short break and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Only, there is no minibar in the room. In winter you can at least put something on the balcony to cool.

Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Fantastic staff, delicious food, and gorgeous surroundings. It can be hard to reach without a car, but even the walk from Oberstdorf was worth it. 😊
